Introduction to Health, Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Settings

This qualification is aimed at people who are entering the field of healthcare, social care, early years provision or childcare for the first time. It is relevant to a wide range of care settings and roles, and would be an ideal introductory course for support workers, domiciliary and residential care workers, health care assistants, early years practitioners, youth workers, and those working in volunteer roles within these settings.

The qualification will enable learners to understand the principles and values that underpin work in these sectors, the importance of safeguarding and protection, the range of services and professionals they are likely to encounter, as well as the key communication that are required.

Our learning materials comprise student workbooks and assessments for the two mandatory units in the qualification and two of the optional units. These can be purchased individually or as a complete package. Get in touch to find out more.
